Cloudspire rises above oceans of drifting mist, its towers sculpted from glass and stone that bend like living trees, spiraling toward the constellations they mirror. At night, chandeliers
of starlight fall within its vaulted halls, casting slow, fluid shadows that make every step feel like walking through a dream.
Unlike Fireworks Reach — frantic, fiery, pulsing with silver and demand — Cloudspire is steady, patient, and deliberate. The city is smaller, older, and more rooted in tradition. Families have lived here for generations, their resonance woven into the very walls. It doesn’t shout with auroras. It hums, gently, in tones that resonate with the sky itself.
Cloudspire’s strength is its self-sufficiency. Its people trade when they wish, but they never need to. Gardens spiral up terraces like hanging rivers of green, fed by condensation pulled from the cloud sea below. Smart glass bends light into warmth, adjusting the climate without fire, silver, or strain. The community is known across the Spiral as “the Switzerland of the skies” — neutral, balanced, and impossible to shake.
Elyon Veyra herself embodies this balance. Where Nysa burns herself raw, Elyon listens, waits, and guides. Her city is not the largest, but it is one of the most stable — and that stability gives her just as much clout as Fireworks Reach. Cloudspire resonates higher because it resonates calmer. Its harmony does not drain, it replenishes.
To outsiders, Cloudspire may feel almost untouchable — a place where dreamers are not scattered or cast aside but nurtured, where visionaries walk in halls of quiet light instead of chaos. But beneath its serene surface, Cloudspire still wrestles with a question whispered from its silver-veined cousin to the east:
Will patience keep them strong — or leave them behind?
