The year is 700012.

Across the Spiral Realms, civilization has spread through galaxies, but humanity no longer means one species, one body, or even one form. Some remain flesh. Some have uploaded themselves into sentient AI bodies. Others carry altered bloodlines, engineered traits, or generations of resonance adaptation.

And beneath nearly all of it runs silver.

Resonance-rich veins connect worlds, power cities, regenerate bodies, carry memory, and make interstellar travel possible. The great Dynasties built their fortunes around those veins—and eventually learned that whoever controls resonance controls far more than energy.

They control who rises.

Who travels.

Who inherits.

And sometimes, who remembers.

Homes drift above oceans, mountains, forests, and open space. Skyfly Houses can move with their families, settling temporarily above a world before lifting again.

Smart-glass walls respond to thought. Rooms alter their atmosphere to match their inhabitants. Memory can be stored in architecture. Communication arrives not as a screen call but as a resonant projection: another person's chosen form appearing within the room as though their essence has stepped through the wall.

Flight has become ordinary.

Regeneration has made age deceptive.

And the night between worlds is no longer empty.

It is inhabited.

That has created another economy beneath the legitimate one: resonance manipulation, black-market tuning devices, coercion, illegal passage, stolen access, and people willing to change another person's choices when they cannot change their signal.

And there are darker rumors.

Entire populations may have been forced into resonance labor around the Silver Mines.

Most citizens have heard some version of the story.

Most have learned not to ask.

But the Spiral Realms do not simply descend upon it.

Earth remains within its own stage of becoming—a civilization more cohesive than the world of 2025, but still learning lessons the galactic societies supposedly passed long ago.

Supposedly.

Those who resonate beyond Earth may eventually enter galactic existence.

Those already beyond it are forbidden from interfering.

Yet ancestors watch.

Signals slip through.

Dogs notice things they shouldn't.

A scrap of paper reaches the right woman.

Someone teaches her how to breathe.

And a tiny alteration made on Earth can travel forward through a bloodline until, generations later, a Dynasty falls because of it.
