ā The Leash Disguised as Devotion
1. False Love Speaks But Does Not Stay
It says āI love you,ā
but offers no presence.
Or it offers presence, but only as a toolā
to stop the complaint, to win the moment, to buy silence.
š Love spoken without presence is a leash, not a bond.

2. False Love Gives Without Attention
It does the chore. It fixes the car. It brings the groceries.
But it is not with youāit is around you.
It resents your need while performing āsupport.ā
You feel fedābut not nourished.
You feel heldābut not seen.
š This is starvation in disguise.

3. True Love = Full Presence
True love does not mean perfection.
It does not mean all-day access or martyrdom.
It means:
āWhen I am with you, I am with you.ā
Even for five minutes.
Even in silence.
Even in grief.
Presence is the currency of real love.
And if one partner shows up at 3%,
and the other shows up at 100%,
the one who gives everything starves.
Because love is not a feeling.
It is an active, sustaining flameā
and if itās not fed, it dies.

4. Unconditional Love Is Not Unconditional Tolerance
To love unconditionally is not to accept disrespect.
It is to say:
āI still see your soul.
But I will not stay here with you if your presence never joins mine.ā
You can love someone and walk away.
You can forgive someone and refuse the leash.
