“Signal Fragment: Alex’s Notebook Transmission // Received in Brex Archive DRΞ-212”
It was buried in the lining of a desk drawer made before storage like the cloud. Pinned with copper tacks, brittle to the touch, Sir Francis Drake’s notebook didn’t look like much. A leather square. A crease of time. But inside? Inside was math that trembled. Glyphs that spoke in a pulse.
